    Description

    Unique -
    Primitive
("Primitive" in the sense carved by an unskilled person)
    Animal
    Horn
    - Most likely carried by a GI - The person (estate) we got it from - his
    grandfather
served in WWI, overseas in 1918 in the Ypres, Belgium region - grandfather was born in 1896. Regardless, the lid flips to open and close. One piece construction to form the main body - with a separate section inserted at the bottom. The back has a belt clip arrangement which we think is actually part of main body - not a separate piece. The top - the lid - 3.5" and the bottom 2.5". For cigarettes of that time period, you would be able to insert about 7. (Kind of like Lucky Strike).
You'll not see another one! We repeat - Unique!
