Vintage Winfield Pottery Ashtrays – Made in California

Description

This is a handsome pair of Winfield pottery ashtrays that were made in California.
Each piece measures approximately 3 ¾” in length, 2 ¾” in width and ½” in height and features a leaf shape with a hand painted underglaze design.
The brown ashtray features the company’s “Desert Dawn” pattern and the off-white ashtray features the “Passion Flower” pattern.
Both pieces have a niche for a cigarette to rest on and are marked on the base with an incised “Winfield” mark.
The bases are unglazed.
Despite a few minor scuffs/scratches these Winfield pottery ashtrays are in very good condition with no evidence of damage.
