The System-THREE® EndRot® Kit has been formulated to be the complete solution to wood rot problems: Board Defense® borate powder is dissolved in water and applied to kill active organisms that are destroying wood (). Impel Rods® are inserted into holes drilled into good wood - solid borate rods slowly dissolve if wood takes on moisture to kill new wood-destroying organisms (). RotFix® liquid epoxy consolidates wood and provides a good bonding surface for epoxy putty (). SculpWood® epoxy putty is applied to replace wood sections destroyed by rot - the cured surface is sanded to make it flush with the surrounding wood (). 100% solid resin epoxies will not shrink as they cure - prime and paint to make repairs virtually undetectable.
