    Dinner Plate in the Olde Glory pattern by Stangl, Red, White and Blue Spongeware
    AUCTION FOR (1) SINGLE DINNER PLATE, (5) AVAILABLE AT THE START OF THE LISTING

    Measures 10 5/8" diameter dinner plate
    Olde Glory is fresh and pleasing in shades or Red, White and Blue that symbolize the strength of our great country. By combining sponged and sprayed items in deep Cobalt blue and Olde Glory Red on white, beautifully appropriate dinnerware is achieved.  Olde Glory was originally intended as a patriotic pattern for American's Bicentennial celebration in 1976.
    These hand painted blue spongeware plates were made in Trenton, NJ.
    The company ceased operations sometime in 1978.
    The pieces are in excellent condition without chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. May have utensil wear. Being hand made and painted, no two are exactly the same and there are variations as shown in the photos.
    If you have never held a piece of Stangl pottery in your hand, you couldn't know of the superior satin finish they produced.
    Plates are in excellent pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks or crazing.
    One plate has a manufacturer defect in color implementation. See last two pictures.
