    Description

Pro Box 5.0 Subwoofer Design Software Old School collectable 1995 NAME.
Old school subwoofer enclosure design software. It's a piece of car audio history. One of the first subwoofer enclosure design software programs available to make enclosure design and comparison easier on the installer/enthusiast. It allowed you to design single or multi sub enclosures in sealed, ported, 4th order and 6th order designs. It also allowed for isobaric loading arrangements. It can plot the response curves of up to 3 different enclosures at a time allowing you to tweak different aspects of your design and see the effect that change could have. It included a database of many popular subwoofers from the time it was made. However, incase your sub wasn't in the database it allowed you to enter the subwoofer spec's on your own and save them to the database for future use.
This software comes on 2 3.5" floppy disc's and is still ready to install. I've used this software to design a lot of boxes over the years and it's still my go to even now. It's intuitive to use and the multiple enclosure comparison really helps when you are trying to get the most out of the space you have. It's still in its original case with the original instructions (some writing on the back of the instruction book as seen in picture). This is from 1995 so it's 27 years old. If 25 years of age is truly what marks something as antique, then it's a antique part of car audio history that you could own in your collection. Just keep these diskettes away from the magnets on speakers. The media is sensitive to magnetic fields and part of it's beauty is that the disc's are still functional. Just pop them in a computer with a working 3.5" floppy and install to a USB drive. Then you will have the software at your disposal anywhere there is a Windows compatible computer to run it on.
I've had this in my personal collection since 1995 when I bought it. It'd make a great addition to someone's collection.
