    Description

This is really a stunning piece of Mid Century Golden Harvest design by Stangl Potteries out of Trenton NJ.  I had not run across this pattern before and was so excited to find such a pristine piece for my customers.  This pattern was produced in the 1960s before the company closed in 1978.
The pitcher is made of red clay with hand painted majolica style yellow and white lilies with brown stems and free form leaves.  This design is etched into the clay and then the silver sage gray glaze is applied and the flowers are hand painted on top.  Just really charming and a unique piece to add to your mid-century collection.  I also think it goes well with rustic wood and antique farmhouse kitchen pieces.  Very versatile and eye catching.

The Stangl Pottery Trenton, NJ Golden logo is clearly marked on the bottom.  Golden Harvest is also noted.
