LOT MEAD "Buck Back" Patriotic Paper Offer (1979-1980) AND Spirit of '76 Leaflet

Welcome to our listing for two patriotic ephemera items dating back to the 1970s-
These belonged to a family member/adult collector who loved all things patriotic- they were handed down to us, and recently found amongst her ephemera and photos.
Item #1:
Spirit of '76  small card that has photo-postcard of the painting on the inside with some information about the iconic painting.  Front has "Spirit of '76" on it and Marblehead Massachusetts (was obtained as a travel souvenir there in the 1970s).  The back has the Spirit of '76 poem by Stephen H. Fagg.  Postcard has only minor adherence to card (we've left it in original condition). Overall,  in very good condition, card stock paper has minor creasing/wrinkling and some discoloration from age.  Measures about 5 1/2 inches (in length) by 4 1/4 inches (in width) in size.
Item #2:
Mead Paper "Offer"  displaying George Washington- it was a rebate "refund" offer if purchase of qualifying product was made then sent in (this one wasn't)- the paper was included in with the pocket portfolios. originally  (they are not included in this listing, they were used ages ago).  The "Offer" expired March 1, 1980.
In particular, the MEAD paper offer has a tear at the bottom, but is complete (and has not been repaired with tape).
The back of the paper has the "Buck Back Proof of Purchase" (please note the tear on the paper does infringe on this image).
It could be disguised well in display flat/framed, etc. There is other significant creasing, wrinkling,  from age and handling.  Nice coloration to this patriotic ephemera.  Measures just under 11 inches in height and 8 1/2 inches (in width) in size.
Both items are sold flat and unframed.  They will be shipped flat and securely.

They have rescued many from terrible circumstances, assist with the feral population (and have special programs for ferals in particular), and more.  We are grateful as we have had rewarding adoptions through this organization in past years, and know their mission is authentic and kind.

We are currently downsizing after a move to smaller quarters and many of our collectibles no longer fit- including items we had stored that belonged to a collector/family member who passed away. Additionally, many purchased new/never used have been carefully stored and we are now selling those as well.
