This Gold record was made by my father, Ken Kittinger  (Google him at:   Ken Kittinger Gold Records)  who was the premier gold & platinum awards maker based on Music Row in Nashville for 50 years.  He knew John as he knew pretty much everyone who ever stepped foot in a recording studio in the Music City or backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.  And they all knew him because he was a legendary character whose passing was noted in Billboard Magazine and other trade mags in the music industry.   Pop left over 5,000 items in his estate - considered to be one of the best collections of music memorabilia ever amassed,  including hundreds and hundreds of extra awards ordered by the record labels around the world.
