I have been using them with my pig for quite a while now
These pads are NOT absorbent *
but only meant to check the color as the urine passes THROUGH to the lower layers
If you change your pads as much as I do......... They are a nice new clean spot to sit on too!

2 layers of polyester fleece wicks wetness thru to what is underneath.
Using these with the white side UP will give you an idea of their urine color.
It varies with diet and more importantly health conditions they might have.
Urine tint is REALLY hard to see on colored fleece.
They are also good to use in your travel carrier when it is time to go to the vet over other bedding to see the color.
Having these around is a good reminder to check that every once in a while.
These are meant for monitoring your piggies usine color. They would be helpful if you are checking poo issues too.
You can use these over any type of bedding /wood chips, paper bedding
All are hard to monitor this with.
