The white will give you an idea of their urine color. Let the urine DRY on the white
because it comes out clear but changes when it dries
It varies with diet and more importantly health conditions they might have.
Urine tint is REALLY hard to see on colored fleece.
Vets will often answer questions through email if you need to check about the color
And there are some great online guinea pig groups
that will answer questions too.
These are intended for temporary pads to check the color.
NOT FOR all day use :)
They are also good to use in your travel carrier when it is time to go to the vet.
Having them around is a good reminder to check that every once in a while.
There are meant for monitoring your piggies usine color. Would be helpful if you are checking poo issues too.
