Up for sale is an original 1990 Bird On A Wire movie press kit starring Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn among others. It includes 7 black and white movie stills, one color ad promotion and fold out promotion advertisement, official screening pass and 8 production information packages. There is some wear from age on the cover and large promo ad otherwise this is a great collection of press info and materials.
These original, physical movie press kits have become very collectible as film studios have completely moved away from producing these physical press kits and have instead elected to produce digital kits or
DVD's
which they simply mail out to media organizations or link to on a server via email. These complete, physical kits in collectable condition are far scarcer and typically only several hundred were produced which makes them among the scarcer forms of movie related memorabilia. These kits have firmly secured a place in pop culture and are sought after collectibles which are only becoming scarcer and more valuable as the years go on.
