Description
Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan.A centuries-old natural purification method that reduces water hardness, absorbs odor, and filters for great-tasting water. Filtering time is approximately 3-4 hours.
4 binchotan charcoal sticks are included in one package. Use 1 stick for 2 liters of water; each stick is approximately 0.8" to 1" in diameter and 4" in length.
Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
