    Description

    Antique German Carved Wooden Elephant Box, (possibly cigarette holder): early twentieth century
    - measures 5 1/2" tall x 2 3/8" across the bottom
    - carved from wood, lacquered finish, body is black, ears are red
    - eyes are glass
    - he has lots of chips to the finish, some have been touched up over the years it seems ( look at close up photos to see chips clearly, above one eye, on ears, on top of head)
    - wonderful patina, marked Germany on the bottom
