Ambient Recording QP 480-SCM QuickPole carbon fiber boom pole (3.66' - 11.66')

Description

This is a used Ambient Recording QP 480-SCM professional CF boom pole in very good working and cosmetic condition (recently tested).  It's only been used a handful of times.
It has an internal 3-pin XLR cable.  The cable is straight and not coiled and the pole is a pull-through style.  The cable feeds up into the pole as you extend it and comes out pretty nicely on its own when you collapse it.  Sometimes you need to give the cable a little tug when collapsing if you feel it bunching up near the hole, but it's really not an issue IMO.  It's a side-exit cable, so you can rest the butt-end of the pole on the ground without damaging the cable.  Collapsed, the pole is about 44" (3.66 feet) and extended it's about 140" (11.66 feet),  The XLR cable is about 11' long when the pole is collapsed and about 3' long with the pole fully extended.  The XLR cable at the microphone end of the pole is 2' long.  The pole weighs 2-pounds, 2-oz.
The Ambient Recording QP480 Quickpole Boom raises boompole standards with high-quality construction. Made from the industry's strongest, stiffest carbon fiber tubing, the boom is excellent for achieving lengths of over 12' and does not tighten in cold or wet climates. Tubing has a 1.5mm thickness that is lightweight, but offers very low transmission noise when boom is handled. At the tip is a machined, stainless-steel 3/8" thread. Secure screw locks and an internal spacer enhance the boom's safety features. The Quickpole Boom can be easily disassembled for cleaning.
