Item Description
Siliconizer Crack Filler Is a 100% elastomeric, styrene/acrylic, silicone modified white mastic for interior and exterior use. Will permanently seal leaks and bridge cracks on smooth surfaces. A flexible mastic that will adhere to any surface and fill cracks of any size. Will not crack, peel or crumble even after exposure to severe weather conditions.

This stuff woks excellent and even though they say they don't recommend thing -- you can thin it with water as long as you mix it thoroughly, I would suggest a drill mix. I intended on using it as a full roof coating and it had to be thinned to role on. It was the most economical choice and the product is of supierer quality.

I brushed two coats. I had no leaks after or during two heavy rains. Brushing seemed to be a preferred method of application because you can brush it into seams instead of just bridging over the seam with a spray application.. The roof was a 20 year old metal roof with many leaks at the laps and at some nails which had backed out and needed to be replaced with screws. The screws had rubber washers. I would definitely use it again.

Follow the directions and this product does what it says it does. I used this along with the Lanco elastomeric paint and it effectively sealed my tongue and groove deck boards as expected. The area beneath this deck is now bone dry. I would suggest that you go to the company website and review the application instructions. Make sure there is no rain in your forecast since this is a water based product that needs to dry completely before becoming effective. Cleanup is as easy as latex paint products.

I use this for stucco and wall repair, concrete patching, and for sealing patio cracks (where floor meets wall) - works much better and lasts much longer than silicone caulk. It takes paint really well too. I've also used it as a filler for rotted areas in wood fascia. The only thing to be careful of is to make sure to shape it well while still wet, it dries really hard and can be hard to sand. Great stuff!

Where patches are required on the roof, and frankly, even in concrete walls - this stuff is the best. If you use it in conjunction with their patching weave, you have a complete waterproof patch that far outlasts tar. I got tired of repairing the same areas of the roof where I'd used tar in the past. This applies easier and doesn't ruin every tool I use. I was told by an in-store rep that I don't have to coat it with anything else. They do some sort of training at the stores and he was very helpful.
